When you volunteer you are giving something back to your community by lending a helping hand to people and organizations. What you may not realize is that volunteering also benefits you as an individual. When you volunteer you are not just giving your time, or energy, or skills, or supplies. The most important thing that you are giving is love!!!
Love - the tender compassion that you feel as you give a helping hand to another soul
Love - the way you cooperate within an organization and it's expectations
Love - the devoted kindness that you exhibit in everything that you do and say
Love - devoted service as you consistently show up
Love - the unselfish way that you give of your time and energy
That's right. No matter how you look at it. When you volunteer you give the most important thing there is...Love. So, whether you call it “giving back” or “paying it forward” through service, there’s a place for you in our organization to give of your time, of your skills, but most important, your love. Our arms are open wide to pass on that love to the women that we serve. C'mon....reach out and touch! We'd love to have you!

We are looking for excited, motivated individuals who are seeking to make a difference. If you have a background in Public Relations, Finances, or business law it is a plus, but not necessary
Volunteer Addictions Facilitator
We are looking for someone to hold recovery and relapse workshop once a month
Development Coordinator
Thank you for volunteering your development skills to an innovative, caring organization.
Health Facilitator
Facilitate a group on HIV/HEPC/TB/ and STDs, semi annually.
Provide information to facilitate risk-free behavior ad give the assessment surveys that are already developed.
Volunteer Projects
Office Assistant
File, contacting agencies, inquire if they know about LTC, if not, provide in-house information, assemble informational packages, assemble volunteer orientation packages, call various organizations for contact info for funding, contact record, maintain, acknowledge contact
Personal Scheduler
Manage the CEO’s schedule: schedule funders introductory meetings, schedule meetings for collaborations, schedule meeting with legal and partnership meeting
Project Coordinators
Work with staff and volunteers to bring a particular project to completion
Iyanla Vanzant (DVD/CD) sale promote and work closely with Karen Clay to provide DVD/CD
Secure License agreement from Dr. Vanzant

Write grants for LTC capacity building, technical, capital and educations assistance
LTC Program Presenters
Present LTC PowerPoint/DVD to potential partners, collaborators and potential funders
NA/AA 12 Step Program Group
We are inviting AA or NA women to start and maintain a weekly women’s rap held at 1736 Payson Street
Workshop Facilitator
Create workshops for the women of LTC involving the general public as fundraisers
We have found that it is rewarding to expose LTC women to other groups of women who are growing and unfolding, both mentally and spiritually.
Financial Development Project
Volunteer for a one time project wherein you join our team to build a sustainable financial development plan
